Istanbul is amazing! A modern, busy city, with tons of old sites and buildings to make every corner turned interesting and beautiful. Just walking the streets is an amazing experience…and with the weather so cool, we are able to walk for a loooooong time. We explored the Hagia Sophia (Ayasofya) museum. The outside was stunning, but the inside was even more breathtaking.

Then we walked across the street to see the Blue Mosque. Again, stunning on the outside:
and breathtakingly beautiful on the inside:
The Archaeological Museum was full of fascinating old stuff:
Went to the Grand Bazaar:
And passed Galata Tower as we walked from Taksim Square to our hostel on the busy street lined with many shops, restaurants, and cafés:
The rest of our time here is not planned, but we won’t likely run out of things to do. There is so much to do here and it has been fun exploring and galavanting around together
